Flange Orientation
(
electric & manual
)
This is the best position for installing the flange, it provides the most working room for the actuators and can be rotated 180 degrees should the cables/shaft/airline need to be run the opposite direction to the front of the trailer for whatever reason. In this position, the cover opens directly on top of the trailer and not off to the side. The flange bolt holes are numbered during assembly so you don't need to worry about remembering which one is which.

Measuring for correct flange bolt length
(
electric & manual
)
We will need this measurement at the time you place your order so we can provide you with the correct bolt length. The video also shows where the ring needs to be measured to determine the minimum height available. 3.5" is generally as low as we would like to see. Spacers are available for shorter distances. Call with any questions.

Measuring Flex Shaft length
(
manual
)
One easy way to find out what length Flex Shaft you need is to do a mockup of the shaft installation using a length of shop airhose. decide where you want to mount the crank end of the shaft and run the hose from the top down following the path you want to take, mark the hose (add a foot or so to the spot you think it will go), remove the hose from the trailer and measure it.
